Finishing the Semester Right!
Here are things you need to consider so that you can finish the semester without regret.
1. Is there anyone that you need to initiate a spiritual conversation with, or share the gospel with before break? A roommate, classmate, co-worker?2. Is there unresolved conflict that you need to resolve, either you apologizing or talking with someone who has offended you?3. Is there anyone that you need to encourage with what you see in them?4. Is there anything within the Cru ministry that you need to do to tie up lose ends before the semester ends? Perhaps in a leadership role you have or maybe it's to challenge someone to go with you to RADIATE with you?5. Are you finishing well with all of your classes and being a good steward of the calling of a student that God has placed on your life?Thinking ahead into the break:6. What are your plans to walk with Jesus throughout the break?
"Those who don't plan, plan to fail."
Once you get home you will have family events and freedom to watch Netflix for hours on end. If you don't make plans of how you are going to walk with Jesus over the break it can be very hard to start the habit once you change environments, so make the plans before you leave for break. What will you study in the bible? What time of day will you spend your time with The Lord at home? Where will you be in fellowship? Do you have a home church? Who at home do you need to pursue with the gospel? Is there a person or group of people that lead you down a path of temptation, if so how might you approach this time home differently from previous breaks?
