4 Ways Finals Won't Kill You
Finals are professional assassins. They plan all semester just how they're going to axe you, and then when your vision is foggy and your strength is weak from the grueling weeks before, they pounce!Thankfully they don't actually take you out, and as brutally frustrating as they can be, finals can in fact bring you much maturity and life! Here are four ways finals won't kill you.1 - In passing a final, you'll rest assured knowing you've mastered the subject. You'll also have lots of bragging rights.2 - If you fail, don't freak. Failure is an opportunity for growth. Decide how you can do better next time. But it also might indicate a need to switch majors.3 - Additionally, finals are an excellent time to practice resting in busyness. Life after college will only get busier and more dense. Finals give you a taste of this. Practice resting well between all the craziness of studying, taking exams and writing papers. Your future you will thank you.4 - Finally, God is also familiar with finishing things. He created the world, stopped and rested on the seventh day. He initiated the writing of the Bible and finalized it with our now 66 books. And He planned to send Jesus as one who would pay for our sins, rise again and finish the work of salvation. In fact, Jesus whispered "it is finished" before he died. So if you're a believer in Christ, finals are an opportunity to be like Jesus, because you are choosing to finish a task God has given you.So relax. Your finals will surely not be your finale._____________Photo credit here.
