3 Things to NOT Do Between Semesters
You have just ended one of the worst seasons of your life: the fall semester, and you're about to enter one that can be equally painful. During this time between the semesters, it's easy to neglect areas of your growth that came naturally during your semester of ministry. So if you're a Christian student at your college, here are some tips on what NOT to do during your winter break between semesters.1 - Do not neglect your time with Jesus. Get in your Bible, pray and be in authentic community during your break. Grow as much as you can. Why? Because God loves you, has saved you from your sin, and wants you to speak with him and hear from him.2 - Do not be so busy-minded and worried about the next semester that you forget to rest. After the grueling work of creating everything and then us, God rested, and he can't even get tired! How much more ought we rest? Make sure to enjoy your families and friends. Don't be lazy, but rest well!3 - Do not lose your heart for your campus. If you're involved in Cru, we desire to be a caring community passionate about connecting lost students to Jesus! It's easy during the holiday and winter break to lose this fire. Pray the Holy Spirit would keep the flame burning for your return to school.
